And the fact that they are in the company of Taylor Swift causes enthusiastic reactions on X (formerly Twitter). Because Many fans are convinced it can only mean one thing: Swift has a role in ‘Deadpool 3’!

After all, this rumor has been going around for quite some time. It was claimed that Swift will appear as the mutant Dazzler in “Deadpool 3”. Dazzler is one of Marvel’s most powerful superheroes. She has the ability to convert any type of sound into beams of light, which she can use in a variety of ways. She is also an excellent singer and hand-to-hand fighter.

Taylor Swift as Dazzler – that almost already existed

Even before ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’, there were rumors that we would see Swift as Dazzler in this film directed by Simon Kinberg. That was probably incompatible with their appointments at the time. The very small role was then taken over by actress Halston Sage. The multiverse adventure “Deadpool 3” could of course refer to this almost casting (it is interesting in this context that Sophie Turner, who was also present at the football match, is the leading actress of “Dark Phoenix”).

If the casting coup with Swift turns out to be true, it could just be a cameo. However, there have been rumors for some time that MCU mastermind Kevin Feige wants to bring Taylor Swift to the MCU. The multi-talented artist is not only a pop star, but also an author, director and actress who is increasingly pushing for film roles. So that would fit. At the same time, Swift has so much on her plate that it’s hard to imagine her committing to a franchise. It seems more likely to us that it will initially just be an appearance in “Deadpool 3” and we will decide later if it will become something more.
