The work that won the 2022 Ricardo Miró National Prize for Literature, “The Elephant in the Room”, will be staged at the Anita Villalaz Theater.
“Elephant in the room”, writer and playwright Roberto Thomas Diaz, will be presented from October 5 to 8 at 8:00 p.m.
Job “Elephant in the room” tells the story of four womenwho work in a public hospital and discovered the boy, who it is not known if he broke in to steal it, during the country’s largest protest by doctors, said Thomas Díaz.
That is, “a story about the vicissitudes that public health personnel go through and it is a very Panamanian story that talks about current situations and in which we all see ourselves as a reflection.”
“With this staging, everyone’s work is being highlighted associates who work within public hospitals and the importance of the health system,” he explained.
“The message of the work is very strong and inviting change and reflection“, said Marisín Luzcando, the actress who plays the head nurse.
