New on Disney+: a legendary cult sitcom enters the next round

Of course we are talking about the Simpsons, the world-famous anarchist family that has been on television screens for over thirty years. And while many fans agree that the series has lost some of its original humor and charm, that doesn’t change the fact that ‘The Simpsons’ is still very popular.

In total the series has no less than 750 episodes and there are a few more to come. Starting today, September 27, 2023, you can stream the 34th season of the cult series on Disney+, the streaming portal of the mouse studio.

But please note: currently only the first half of the season has been published. So currently you only have access to eleven episodes of the 34th season. It is not yet clear when the second wave of new supply from Springfield will enter Disney+’s streaming offering portfolio.

Fans in Germany can also look forward to new mayhem adventures with Homer, Bart, Marge and Lisa in the future: Only in January 2023 was it announced that “The Simpsons” would be renewed for two more seasons and would therefore span at least 36 seasons. Season 35 starts in a few days on American free TV: on October 1, 2023.

Additionally, the residents of Springfield venture into worlds of horror that go beyond the popular ‘Treehouse of Horror episodes’ and satirize the well-known Stephen King shocker ‘IT’ in the episode ‘Not IT’.
