Top OLED TV from LG with up to 43 (!) percent discount on Amazon: buy the C3 now for a bargain price

Since its introduction in March 2023, the LG OLED C3 one of the best 4K televisions in the upper middle class. As usual with current models, the C3 was very expensive shortly after its market introduction. But now prices are falling and Amazon is beating all previous deals.

Because there you can get all sizes of the LG OLED C3 at the lowest price. You save the most with the large version 77 inches (approx. 196 cm)*, which costs 3,449 euros instead of 5,299 euros. You also get a very nice discount on the 55 inch (139 cm) version for 1,399 euros instead of 2,399 euros.

LG OLED C3: One of the best mid-range OLED TVs

The heart of the LG OLED C3 is the display, which is thanks to… OLED Evo technology A particularly high peak brightness is achieved – with lower power consumption thanks to the higher efficiency of the individual pixels and a more intelligent processor. This means that HDR effects such as explosions or muzzle flashes are particularly effective.

In combination with the deep black value typical of OLEDs, this results in a very high contrast. Only the current flagship LG OLED G3 and the Panasonic MZW2004 are better here at the moment. But these also cost considerably more.

This is interesting for movie buffs “Personal photo mode” of the LG OLED C3. Here you will be shown a series of images and select the one you like best in terms of color. After six rounds, the 4K television then calculates the ideal image mode for your viewing behavior.

Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision and finally DTS:X again

Furthermore, the C3 offers everything you would expect from a good OLED TV: in HDR format Dolby Vision supports. However, you have to do without HDR10+. 120 Hz, together with gaming technologies such as VRR and ALLM, ensures delay-free gaming, even with Dolby Vision if desired. In terms of sound, the C3 has shortcomings, but can at least process Dolby Atmos and ultimately DTS:X and pass it on to a soundbar or surround system.

In principle, the C3 only shows weaknesses in the field of sound. You probably can’t avoid a soundbar or surround system. There is also no support for HDR10+. This HDR format is displayed in HDR10, but still comes into its own very well in terms of good display.

LG OLED G2 as an alternative to the C3

An alternative to the LG OLED C3 is the aforementioned alternative LG OLED G2. The 55-inch variant of last year’s flagship can currently be found on Amazon Media Markt* available for 1,299 euros.

In the Hifi.de test, the G2 performed slightly better than the C3. This is mainly due to the display and the flat design, which is ideal for wall mounting. The G2 is slightly better than the C3, especially when it comes to brightness. It also offers better sound. However, the G2 is supplied without a stand, but with a suitable wall bracket.
