The battle between humans and the AI ​​powers that were actually created to protect them has claimed many future victims after an atomic bomb hit Los Angeles ten years ago, sparking a war.

Former Special Forces operative Joshua (John David Washington) is still mourning the disappearance of his wife (Gemma Chan) when he is recruited to find and kill the Creator: the elusive architect of advanced artificial intelligence.
