When you hike in the Swiss mountains, you always pass beautiful mountain huts along the way. Some are small shelters, while others are larger and even provide food and beverage service. You either briefly brace yourself for the rest of the journey or spend the night there. In many more comfortable chalets, you need to make a reservation if you plan to stay for one or more nights.
Some huts are known for their rustic atmosphere or fine dining, while others are particularly impressive due to their location: an impressive view of nature often awaits you here. Each mountain hut has its own charm. Whether traditional, modern or luxurious, the mountains have something to suit a wide range of tastes. Last year we asked the Blick community for tips and here we present the 15 most beautiful mountain huts in the country:
Lauteraarhütte, Gutannen TO BE
Open from June 25, 2022, the winter room can be booked until June 17. You must request a form to make a reservation.
