BTS’s V releases his first solo album ‘Layover’

V, one of the seven members of popular South Korean K-pop band BTS, released his first solo album “Layover” on Friday.

Although V, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, has released several solo songs, this is his first studio album, his record label BigHit Music recalled in a statement today.

V27 years old, that’s how it becomes v the last of the seven members of the successful group that will officially debut as soloist.

Since BTS announced last year that they will take a break as a band at least until 2025 so that its members can serve their military service in their country and focus on personal projects, several of its members, such as MRI, J-Hope, Jin or Jiminthey took the opportunity to release solo albums.

The videos of the three cuts were filmed in Spain, specifically inside the symbol white towers designed by architect Javier Saénz de Oiza Madridon the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, i.e. inside the spectacular cave of Nerja (Málaga).

The album, full of R&B and calm tones, was entirely produced by him Min Hee-jinCEO of ADOR, one of the labels of the South Korean giant Hyba.

Min, the former creative director of SM Entertainment with Hybe in 2019, is behind the successful girl group New jeans.
