On August 29, the Berlin public prosecutor’s office announced that the ongoing investigation against Till Lindemann had been terminated. Just a few days later, Alena Makeeva published a photo. She had apparently taken the reactions to this into account.

On Instagram, Makeeva now shows herself cheerfully with a glass of wine in her hand. “Thank you all. Sending love to my friends and to my enemies,” she captioned the photo. The spicy thing is the t-shirt that Makeeva is wearing. It says “Kill Till”, it’s the same one Till Lindemann wore a few wore weeks ago.

Between the words ‘Kill’ and ‘Till’ is written in small letters: ‘Your toxic masculinity’ (in German: your toxic masculinity). Lindemann then had it made into a shirt. You can read more about the campaign with the Rammstein singer here, so now Makeeva is also wearing the provocative shirt.

Alena Makeeva is said to have been a sort of key figure in the Lindemann affair. She would have acted as a “casting director”. However, the band distanced itself from these representations, stating that they had no business ties to Makeeva.

Makeeva apparently planned reactions to her t-shirt photo. Shortly after she published her photo, a report about that action appeared on our sister portal “watson.de”. The young woman seemed happy about that. She posted an excerpt of the article online and wrote, “How to make headlines”. She added a smiley face to her words that cried with laughter.

Under the original post on Instagram, there are almost only positive comments. That’s the biggest middle finger statement there is. I love it,” one person wrote. Another opinion is: “This shirt was one of the best reactions ever.”
