Report: Johnny Depp found unconscious in hotel room

Johnny Depp has been touring Europe with his band Hollywood Vampires in recent months. However, the concert in Budapest was canceled at short notice due to “unforeseen circumstances” – rumors are now circulating that the musician was not found in his hotel room before the performance and the performance therefore had to be cancelled.

As the Hungarian news site “Blikk” reports, a doctor even had to be called because Johnny Depp had probably passed out in his room. Everything was already prepared for the performance, an employee reports to the news portal. The fact that the concert could not take place was only communicated shortly before the start at 6 p.m.

It is not yet entirely clear what caused the musician to collapse. However, recordings are circulating on Twitter on which the 60-year-old would have a cigarette in his mouth and a cup in his hand shortly before the disturbing incident. The photos are said to have been taken a few hours before the concert was cancelled.

Fans were very concerned about Johnny Depp. “Johnny needs treatment. He finally has to seek help. I wish him only the best,” or “I hope he recovers,” Twitter users wrote, for example.

It’s no secret that Johnny Depp has struggled with his drug and alcohol use in the past. In the libel trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard over a year ago, the addiction problems of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star were also extensively discussed.
