Unlike synthetic materials, there are also fabrics that make us sweat less and can even have a cooling effect.

When the thermometer rises above 25 degrees, we begin to sweat. When we have sweat stains on our beautiful floral dress, we like to hide under the seat on the Postbus.
But there is another way. We don’t need to be embarrassed when we have the right supplies in hand before heading to the closet in the morning. Because there are substances that expel sweat more than our pores.

Free from polyester, nylon and acrylic

Under no circumstances should you wear polyester, nylon or acrylic. Because these fabrics are made of synthetic fibers and therefore mostly made of plastic. The skin cannot breathe. Additional heat is generated under the clothes, we sweat more and create unpleasant odors.
However, clothes made from these fabrics are often cheaper, so people often reach for them unconsciously. They also often contain elastane, which makes them more comfortable to wear.

These fabrics are good in heat

Unlike synthetic materials, there are also fabrics that make us sweat less and can even have a cooling effect.

  • linen

For example, linen, where the weave keeps the heat away. Textile fiber naturally absorbs sweat and dries quickly if there are damp spots. The only downside: Linen clothes wrinkle quickly!

  • silk

Silk is also a real summer fabric. The elegant fabric feels light and cool on the skin. Even long sleeves don’t sweat. But silk is a little more expensive. Also, the fabric is not as durable and less absorbent as other materials.

  • Cotton

Cotton is less complex than silk when it comes to maintenance. The popular fabric is usually loosely woven and therefore passes air that cools the skin. Textiles are made from natural fibers, although there are now high-quality fabrics made of cotton.

  • bamboo

Although still rarely found, bamboo is definitely destined for summer. Clothes made from sweet grass can be found in online stores. The biggest plus of this fabric type: Bamboo absorbs more moisture than cotton and is as light as silk.
