New to Disney+ in August: “Guardians Of The Galaxy 3”, new “Star Wars” episodes and season 2 of one of the greatest series of all time

You don’t have to wait long for you cinema blockbusterGuardians of the Universe Part 3” stream on Disney+. The last MCU adventure of the motley crew around Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) will be right at the beginning of the month, namely from the August 2, 2023available on the Disney streaming service.

New “Star Wars” episodes are also coming at the same time, but they’ll start on a smaller scale before a brand new live series kicks off in the middle of the month: August 2 takes Disney+ new episodes of the animated series “Star Wars: The Adventures of the Young Jedi“that is specifically aimed at preschoolers, in the program.

Away August 23 then there is of “Star Wars: Ahsoka‘ by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, the latest series in The Mandalorian universe. Ex-Jedi Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Co. looking for friend Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) and foe Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen). Fans of the Star Wars Rebels series will know that this is where many animated favorites from the fantasy franchise make their live-action debuts.

Although we don’t yet know how good “Star Wars: Ahsoka” will eventually become, we can already say that with certainty about another series – not only the international reviews speak a clear language: the second season of “The bear: king of the kitchen“the ben August 16 coming to Disney+ should be great again – by the average rating even slightly better than the already excellent first season (92/100 points for season 2 vs. 88/100 for season 1).

For the author of this article, the new episodes about Chef Carmy (new Emmy nominee: Jeremy Allen White) are even already THE series tip of the month.

But that’s not all there is to discover on Disney+ in August 2023. Other highlights include the third season of the acclaimed crime comedy “Only kills in the building“ (from August 8) and the 13th season of the animated hit “Bob’s burgers(from August 16).
