“Arak attack“: When it comes to animal horror, can’t the beasts just be big enough for you? Perfect! Because in the funny “Arac Attack”, spiders mutate into gigantic monsters and infest a sleepy small town in the United States. Right in the middle: “Scream” star David Arquette and then 18-year-old Scarlett Johansson (3 out of 5 stars).
“Frances Ha“: With “Barbie” Greta Gerwig will deliver her new directorial work next week. In “Frances Ha” she took on the lead role – and her “Barbie” co-writer Noah Baumbach is responsible for directing. The black-and-white tragic comedy became a hit with critics in 2013 and Noah Baumbach was able to prove once again that he is the Woody Allen of our time (4 out of 5 stars).

“The astronaut’s wife“: Even fans of Johnny Depp may not have heard of The Astronaut’s Wife. The sci-fi horror, in which Depp returns quite changed as astronaut Spencer Armacost after a mission in space, is an atmospheric thriller that comes with elements from sci-fi and horror cinema. Mad Max: Fury Road star Charlize Theron plays the female lead.
