No plans for the weekend? How about a beach getaway? The weekend of July 15th will see the “Mercadito de Playa”, a free event for the whole family.
The event, organized by Carolina De León and Tomás Pinzón, will take place at Hawaiisito Surf Shop, El Palmar Beach, San Carlos, starting at 11:00 a.m. with the participation of 12 companies.
De León commented that there will be undertakings second hand clothes, crafts, paintings on canvas, handmade soaps, surfboards and items, flash tattoos, cakes and much more.
Amapola Panama, trade in hygiene products and menstrual educationwill be one of the ventures that will be present at the small market whose purpose is to support local brands and that art in Panama gained recognition through activities of this nature.
“The small market was created because we have an aspiration to Palmar grow as a community and people feel that wonderful vibe that this place offers… For me it would be my second edition as an event organizer, the first was a few months ago at Hostal Panama Beach Lodge with the help of everyone who is part of that lovely team that found in the same way in El Palmar,” assured De León.
What will be the future of the small market? De León explained that his vision would be to bring activity not only to areas beachbut also in the city and areas with greater capacity for the participation of several and different companies community can continue to grow.
