During filming, each scene is usually filmed several times until everything is perfect. But every now and then actors and actresses improvise lines that weren’t actually in the script. And sometimes those scenes are just so much better and they end up in the movie.

After JP asked “But why male models?” answered, Ben Stiller says exactly the same thing again in Zoolander. Stiller forgot his next sentence and instead of breaking off, he repeated himself.

Leonardo DiCaprio mistook the bed for the couch in his line in the “Draw me like one of your French girls” scene and corrected himself, adding to Jack’s charm. Director James Cameron decided to keep the scene that way.

Billy accidentally hits Stu with the phone in “Scream.” The film blood made the phone stick to his hand. Staying in character, Stu responded, “You fucking hit me with the phone, asshole!”

The set of “Mrs. “Doubtfire” got so heated up by the lights that Robin Williams’ “face mask” started melting and fell into the coffee. Director Chris Columbus said this impromptu scene was so funny that they decided to continue filming. This scene turned out to be one of the funniest in the entire movie.

In “The Princess Suddenly”, Mia and Lilly climb around the stand and Mia falls over. That was not planned. The stands were very wet and Anne Hathaway slipped on a puddle causing her to fall and later burst out laughing.

In the Friends episode where Chandler is dating Rachel’s boss, he is handcuffed to a chair. Rachel frees him, but then places the handcuffs on a filing cabinet. What wasn’t in the script was Chandler hitting himself on the head with the drawer while trying to free himself.

According to his co-stars and director David Yates, Rupert Grint often broke with his character and laughed at serious scenes. Like when Harry, Hermione and Ron were talking about the kiss between Harry and Cho and they all burst out laughing.

Rainn Wilson and John Krasinski rehearsed the drill ball scene three times and filmed the scene a total of thirteen times. Each time, the air slowly escaped, as planned. When Jim poked a hole in the ball with the scissors for the fourteenth time, it suddenly burst.

Alicia Silverstone didn’t know she mispronounced “Haitians” in Clueless. However, director Amy Heckerling would not correct her, as she felt it suited her character: “If you [falschen] one thing is absolutely certain, you behave in a way that you just can’t reproduce when you know you’re doing something wrong.”

After Leonardo DiCaprio cut his hand on a piece of broken glass in “Django Unchained”, he just kept playing even though he was bleeding. For this performance, the entire hall burst into thunderous applause after the recording.

Kissing in full space suit gear? Not so easy, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt found out on the set of “Passengers”. Lawrence told USA Today, “Our heads couldn’t touch. We laughed about it and then worked it into the movie.”
