55-inch 4K TV for less than 400 euros on Amazon: this QLED TV offers the ultimate value for money

As one of the few 4K TV manufacturers, Hisense supports the two main HDR formats HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, setting it apart from competition from LG, Sony and Samsung. But even beyond that, the E7HQ has some strengths that are surprising at this price point.

Currently you can get the Hisense TV on Amazon for 60 euros cheaper only 369 euros. The QLED TV has never been so cheap.

According to Geizhals.de, the Hisense is the current one cheapest QLED TV with 55 inch on the market.

Hisense E7HQ: with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision

The Hisense E7HQ convinces with excellent image quality and strong contrasts, which are not self-evident in this price range. The QLED display and the powerful processor are the main reasons for the good visual impression. The computing core also performs with the dynamic HDR formats HDR10+ and Dolby Vision good job. Unlike the more expensive competition from LG, Samsung and Sony, Hisense supports both major formats.

Color and brightness changes in the dynamic HDR formats are quickly implemented by the processor, so that the delayed adjustment typical of other TVs in this price range is minimal. In addition, the 4K upscaling of Full HD content to Ultra HD resolution is convincing.

In addition, there is a solid operating system called Vidaa, which lets you all popular streaming services can be easily checked. Voice control via Alexa, Google Assistant and Vidaa Voice is also possible, but only by pressing a button on the remote control.

Now, if you’re wondering why the Hisense E7HQ is significantly cheaper compared to the competition, there are two main reasons. On the one hand, the maximum brightness of the 4K TV is not optimal, certainly not in HDR mode. Therefore, watch dark films and series in daylight. On the other hand, the E7HQ “only” has a display with 60 Hz, which is enough for streaming. However, sports broadcasts and next-gen gaming with Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X run better on a 120 Hz panel.

Basically, you get one for the low price very decent 4K TV with a great image in the right lighting conditions. If you are looking for a television for the party room, guest room or children’s room that visually impresses and does not cost a lot of money, the Hisense E7HQ is the right choice for you.

The best alternative also comes from Hisense

An alternative to the Hisense E7HQ is the Hisense U71HQ for currently 599 euros at Amazon. The big brother of the E7HQ relies on a ULED display.

The display technology corresponds to a mix of different screen types. The result is impressive and generating according to Hisense images twice as bright as the E7HQ. This makes the U71HQ also suitable for use in daylight.

In addition, the ULED TV scores with a 120 Hz display, two HDMI 2.1 connections for NextGen consoles, Dolby Vision IQ support and Full Array Local Dimming, as well as Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual X as sound formats.
