Quentin Tarantino destroys hope for good: the movie we’ve been waiting for for years will never come

Filming on The Movie Critic will begin in September. And while film fans always fall into euphoria when Quentin Tarantino tackles a new project, there is also a good portion of melancholy in the tenth film from the ‘Pulp Fiction’ creator. Because if the director actually keeps his word, it will be his last film. Tarantino announced this years ago – and he has now substantiated it with new statements:

“My last movie is about a critic,” Quentin Tarantino confirmed in an interview of . Speaking to the Belgian newspaper, the acclaimed filmmaker not only mentioned that there would be a “male critic” and that the film is set in the 1970s, he also let hopes for another project come to the bottom where many of his fans been hoping for years: above “Kill Bill part 3Tarantino says in the same breath, “I don’t see that,” which means something like, This looks really bad. Not in the least because he keeps emphasizing that it should actually be over after his upcoming film.

Bad news for many fans for whom a third appearance by Uma Thurman as Beatrix Kiddo aka The Bride has been at the top of Tarantino’s wish list for years. Due to a lack of demand, the plan that was once in the air to continue the two-part series again, at least not…

Everyone wants “Kill Bill Vol. 3”

“Kill Bill Vol. 1” and “Kill Bill Vol. 2” have many fans – including not only the author of this article, for whom the first part in particular is one of the greatest films of all time, but also Deadly Viper Actress Vivica a foxwho recently revealed that she would very much like to come back for a third part.

While that’s not too surprising – the career of the actress, who is also known for her roles in Independence Day, hasn’t really taken off since then – Rumors/wishes continued over the years that Uma Thurman would also have her daughter for the first time Maya Hawke could be on camera for a “Kill Bill” movie. After all, she’s also been in the acting business since her role in “Stranger Things” appearance – and could rightfully slip into the role of Beatrix Kiddo’s daughter.

In addition, a music video started the rumor mill a few months ago: In “Kill Bill” by R&B star SZA it features Vivica A. Fox of all people – which quickly led to Tarantino fans demanding Fox and SZA as a mother-daughter duo in “Kill Bill 3”. In an interview with Vivica A. Fox explained, among other things, that this was confirmation for her that the audience is still asking for more after 20 years. “Man, we went viral. I mean, 70 million views!”

In the end, would it be a good idea to continue the Beatrix Kiddo saga after all these years? After all, Tarantino should stay with us as an author of specialized film literature – and after his great work “Cinema Speculation” (which we presented to you in another article), that makes us look forward to the future…

Advice: maybe it’s better this way…

We live in an age where box office sales are already calculated in such a way that sequels are already being considered before a movie even hits theaters. It is understandable that, of course, films are ultimately products that many people use to earn their living. However, the impression is increasingly emerging that many film series and series are artificially kept alive due to high demand.

You can’t give a filmmaker like Quentin Tarantino enough credit for not giving in. If he’d had the one brilliant idea to make a Kill Bill trilogy, I’m sure he’d have taken the martial arts revenge saga even further. But it wasn’t like that. Tarantino makes films that he believes in completely. Is he – as in the case of “Vol. 3” – not, it’s probably better to leave it that way. Before the series is remembered as a brilliant two-part film, eventually followed up with a superfluous, mediocre third film…
