The 66th Grammy Awards will be held on February 4, 2024 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles (California, United States), the Recording Academy announced in a statement on Thursday.

The show will air live on the CBS television network and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

The organizer of this awards ceremony dedicated to music also announced that this year’s nominees will be announced on Friday, November 10, 2023, and that the best recordings, compositions and performers of the year who have been making music since October 1 will be singled out. 2022 until September 15, 2023.

In early June, the organization announced that the next edition will include three new categories: Best African Music Performance, Best Pop Dance Recording and Best Alternative Jazz Album.

In addition, the existing sections non-classical producer of the year and non-classical composer of the year will become part of the general categories, where all voters recognized by the institution will choose them, and not as before. The development is part of the Recording Academy’s efforts to make the awards process “fairer, more transparent and more accurate,” Harvey Mason Jr., the organization’s chief executive officer, said in the letter.

During the latest edition, Beyoncé became the artist with the most Grammys after winning four turntables for her album “Renaissance” to add to her career total of 32.

Other winners on the night included Harry Styles, who won album of the year for “Harry’s House,” while Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” won record of the year, and blues singer Bonnie Raitt gave her a surprise win for song of the year for “Just Like That”.
