1. Remove the nodes
You should comb your hair in the evening so that the knots formed during the day do not become matted even more at night. The gentlest way to do this is with brushes with natural bristles. These are softer than plastic bristles and give a silky shine.
2. Tie long hair
If you have long hair, you should either braid it before going to bed or create a high bun that is not too tight. This is perhaps the most important rule of the evening care routine for your hair! This will prevent your hair from getting rough or matted while you sleep on the pillow. It also prevents hair breakage.
Use non-metal hair ties
A clasp is recommended for a bun, while smaller headbands without metal inserts can be used for braids so they don’t bother you while you sleep. Generally, metal-free hair ties are gentler to hair, even during daily styling.
3. Dry the hair before going to sleep
Wet hair is much more prone to breakage and therefore should be left to air dry before going to sleep or blow dried in a not too hot environment. The lengths and ends will thank you. 7. Waves or curls overnight
