Vin Diesel announces the official release date of Fast & Furious 11 – and that’s pretty surprising!

“Fast & Furious 10”, which opened in German cinemas in May 2023, has already grossed more than $ 600 million worldwide. With a budget of reportedly $ 340 million, it will take a little longer before the tenth part of the iconic lead foot saga can become a real success. Even if “Fast X” doesn’t live up to expectations commercially, the long-confirmed sequel “Fast & Furious 11” isn’t in jeopardy.

Fortunately, because after the big cliffhanger, which would then be followed by two star-studded cameos, the fans naturally want to know how the sequel to “Fast X” continues. Vin Diesel now has via announced how long fans of “Fast & Furious”* will have to wait until “La Familia” returns to cinemas:

Fast & Furious 11 will be released in North American theaters on April 4, 2025. For Germany, this most likely means that the film will start on April 3, 2025. Possibly (since this is not unusual for major blockbusters) “Fast 11” was also shown in cinemas in this country from Wednesday, April 2.

First “Fast 11”, then “Hobbs vs. Dante”?

The cameo that caused the most buzz at the end of the film was undoubtedly that of Dwayne Johnson, who now surprisingly returns to the Fast & Furious universe. Yes, the feud between Johnson and Vin Diesel seems to be a thing of the past. Instead, Johnson, as Luke Hobbs, will soon face villain Dante (Jason Momoa) in his own new movie. But when can we expect the hit “Hobbs Vs. Dante”?

In the closing credits scene of Fast 10, Dante makes it clear that he is after not only Dom Toretto (Diesel) and his family, but also Luke Hobbs. After all, it was Hobbs who shot Dante’s father, Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida). Given that “Fast 11” is now out in 2025 and it’s almost impossible that “Hobbs Vs.
