A company from Vigo Alice Biometrics was one of newly established companies winners of the sixteenth edition EmprendeXXI awardsled by CaixaBankthrough its DayOne department, and it is co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, through Enisa.
The jury, composed of more than thirty experts, singled out the companies that offer the best solutions to the main challenges facing today’s society. Along with the company from Galicia, Bemyvega, Lain Tech, Bread Free, Medical Plasmas and Hotelverse were awarded.
Alice Biometrics is the winner of the BancaXXI challenge, dedicated to the digital transformation of the financial sector. The company from Vigo offers solutions for remote identity verification and anti-fraud technology. Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, the company guarantees that the people operating on the other side of the screen are who they say they are. Also, the identification process on the line enables the development of fast and secure digital procedures.
The Galician company, like the other winners, will receive cash prize of 20,000 euros and specialized international training conducted by Esade and experts from Silicon Valley. Likewise, you will have the opportunity to be at Investors Day EmprendeXXI, conferences where your managers can get in touch with investors and companies interested in cooperation with the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
