Aeroregional opens a new destination between Ecuador and Panama

A new flight on the route between Quito and Panama Pacifico International Airport was inaugurated on Monday by the Ecuadorian airline Aeroregional, increasing the weekly frequencies between the countries to three.

According to the statement, Aeroregional will initially operate flights to and from Quito on Mondays and Fridaysby Boeing 737-500 aircraft, with a capacity of 129 passengers.

It is not excluded that this airline will increase frequencies in the future.

Raffoul Arab, General Manager of Tocumen, emphasized the importance of continuing to increase connectivity, especially with low-cost airlines.

“We are very enthusiastic about the consolidation of the Panama Pacifico terminal, in attention airlines Low price. We already connect 10 international destinations in South America and the Caribbean,” he said.

Flights to Panama from the cities of Quito and Guayaquil operated by the charter airline Aeroregional are intended to encourage beach tourism, shopping and trade between the two countries.

Aeroregional is a commercial airline passenger and cargo transportation installed in Ecuador since 2018.

The airline started as an air taxi and later became a commercial airline with scheduled and non-scheduled domestic and international flights.
