The National Secretariat for Energy this wednesday announced the new prices of petrol and diesel which will be applied from May 19.
In the provinces Panama and Colongasoline from 95 octane it will become cheaper by five cents, so it will be sold for 1014 dollars per liter.
While gasoline 91 octane it will drop two limes and remain at 0.95 limes per liter.
In the meantime, low sulfur diesel it will become cheaper by two cents and will be sold for 0.84 liters.
It was announced that the new prices will be in effect until June 2 at 5:59 a.m.
The price of a gallon of solid fuel at $3.25 for gasoline and diesel of 91 octane remains until May 31.
With the subsidy, the Government tries to continue to stimulate economic growth in sectors such as: agriculture, livestock, production, fishing, construction, trade, industry and tourism, among others, so that the price of the ticket for the population does not increase. expensive, in addition to guaranteeing job creation and that inflation in Panama remains among the lowest in the world for the country to move forward.
