The Chamber of Commerce will perform a change of command this week

Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Panama (Cciap)announced that this week it will transfer command of its board of directors, as part of its institutional commitment to promote, connect and defend private companies as the unquestionable driver of the country’s economy.

The union noted that it has been a key player in national life, maintaining its commitment to contributing to the development of Panamanians through free enterprise, as a fundamental component of life in a democracy; since this is not possible if citizens are not able to take action, create jobs, generate well-being and prosperity for their associates and, consequently, for the families and communities of which they are a part.

“Within these frameworks, our union walked, is walking and will continue to walk, with the firm belief that the joint work of various actors in society will result in transversal and balanced development of the country; Therefore, workers, entrepreneurs, businessmen and the Government are all invited to seek constant dialogue and the immediate implementation of concrete actions that help us to respond to the great difficulties that our people are facing today, within the indispensable framework of respect, properly coordinated and harmonizedit is stated in the press release of Cciap.

Also discriminatory lists, mining contract, domain termination, payments to government service providers, administration of justice, support for MiPyMES, municipal taxes and gender equality, among others.

In addition, this year, from the beginning, they participated in Grand National Alliance for Panama, where hundreds of manufacturing, business, educational and social organizations have joined nationally; since the solution goes through the sum of efforts.

Under this premise, they launched the initiative #MyCompanyIsPanamawhere they sought to highlight the virtuous circle created in the private sector between associates and employers, showing the development of honest professionals, men and women who are the machinery of private initiative.
