Another shutdown this month, affecting system 1 again

The month of April is not over yet, and it’s already a new station. The Stellantis factory from Vigo (former PSA Peugeot Citroën) suspends part of the production again on the night of Thursday, April 20, and in three shifts on Friday, the 21st due to a lack of parts.

The factory explained that system 1, where it is, will be without work Citroën C-Elysée and Peugeot 301 and 2008. “Due to force majeure, as a result of a lack of supplies, the activity of ‘System 1’ is suspended in the night shift on Thursday, April 20, and in three shifts on Friday, April 21,” the company explains, reports Europa. During this year, there was a lot of downtime at the factory due to problems with the supply of certain components needed for its vehicles. This also happened last week and affected Thursday night and all three Friday shifts.
