ABANCA and Cooke Inc.. have reached an agreement on exclusive negotiations on the purchase and sale of 80% of their stake in Nova Pescanova. Over the next few weeks, the usual negotiation process for this type of transaction will progress, with the aim of reaching an agreement on the acquisition of a majority stake in Nueva Pescanova by one of the world’s leading family-owned marine protein companies. The transaction defends the future valuation of Nueva Pescanova of around 800 million euros. Nueva Pescanova will keep its brand and its headquarters in Vigo.
