The Panamanian jury climbs to the podium in Guatemala

Christopher Jury put in Panama this Thursday on the podium of the second stage Bantrab Bike Tour 2023 it was challenged in Guatemala.

The 124.5 kilometer journey ended with mass packing in the region Coban Alta Verapaz which was won by the Colombian Robinson Oyola (Team
Medellín-EPM) with a time of 3 hours 06 minutes and 48 seconds.

The second position was taken by an Ecuadorian Byron Guamá (Movistar BestPC).

While the third place went to Panamanian Christofer Jurado (Panama is culture and values) with the same time in this group of 26 runners.

The individual overall ranking is still dominated by Colombian-Spanish Oscar Seville (Team Medellín-EPM) with a record of 6 hours 33 minutes and 36
seconds after the first two phases.

Jurado from Chorrera is in pit 16 with a difference of 10:25 minutes Seville, double winner of the International Tour of Chiriqui.

“We knew how to position ourselves well for the closing, we knew that strong runners were coming to the finish line and thank God we managed to win the podium for Panama”,
commented the jury.

Jury who was at the last Olympics in Tokyo 2020, wants to return to the big event in Paris 2024

The third stage this Friday will be 113.5 kilometers long San Miguel Chicá and arrival in Guastatoya u Progress.

It should be noted that the third stage includes three flying targets and a mountain prize of the first class.
