The Investment Attraction and Export Promotion Authority (Propanema) and System B Central America and the Caribbeantoday they signed an agreement on inter-institutional cooperation to support and strengthen competitiveness and measure the social and environmental impact of companies and entrepreneurs in Panama.
This agreement seeks to promote sustainability in business and entrepreneurial sectorthrough the promotion of responsible and sustainable practices, and the implementation of tools for measuring social and environmental impact.
In that sense, Ambassador Carmen Gisela Vergarageneral director propane He explained that “it is a priority for Panama to continue to be an attractive country for investment, and with this type of agreement, it seeks to strengthen the goal of being a sustainable investment center that promotes the growth of an inclusive, fair and prosperous society. B Corps is a business model that generates, in addition to economic growth , social welfare and environmental responsibility. This is what we want for our country.”
Propane and System B Central America and the Caribbean, together will offer training and workshops on the use of free tools, which are adapted to all types and sizes of companies to assess the social and environmental impact of business.
