Gasoline will go up this Friday, diesel will go down

The new fuel prices were published this Wednesday, March 22, in the Official Gazette.

From this Friday, March 24, until April 7, 2023, gasoline with 95 and 91 octane will increase in price, while diesel will become cheaper.

In the provinces of Panama and Colón, the price of 95-octane gasoline will cost $1,054 (previously $1,051), or $3.99 a gallon, and 91-octane gasoline will rise to $0.996 (previously $0.985), leaving $3.77 per gallon. a gallon. .

Meanwhile, the price of low-sulphur diesel is falling to $0.946 (from $0.977), making it $3.58 a gallon.

The state government approved extending the price of a gallon of solid fuel to $3.25 for 95 and 91 octane gasoline, as well as diesel, until April 1.

Sectors such as agriculture, livestock, manufacturing, fishing, construction, trade, industry, tourism, among others, benefit from this subsidy.
