For the second year in a row, Tocumen International Airport it was declared “The best airport in Central America and the Caribbean”.
Evaluation is achieved through a satisfaction survey conducted by a consultant Skytrax, as part of the World Airport Awards 2023 presented at a ceremony in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The recognition was awarded based on the results of surveys of more than 550 airports, which measure the satisfaction of millions of users with the services offered by each airport; taking into account a total of 39 sections relating to access, public transport, comfort, cleanliness or safety, among other aspects.
