The founder of Ecoener receives recognition after 30 years at the head of the company
Luis de Valdivia, founder and president of Ecoener, was awarded the EY (Ernst & Young) Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 award, in the Sustainability category. The absolute winner of this twenty-sixth edition was Juan Abarca, president of HM Hospitales, Promeda and the IDIS Foundation.
The first CEO of Ecoener received his recognition on Thursday evening in Madrid from the Mayor of the City Council of the capital José Luis Martínez-Almeida and from Federico Linares, President of EY Spain, more than 200 participants from the institutional and business world. Luis de Valdivia got this recognition after 30 years at the head of a Galician company focused on the production of renewable energy. Dedicated to the promotion, construction, management and maintenance of three technologies: hydroelectric power plants, wind farm and photovoltaic solar plants. This integrated management model has made it a global reference within its sector.
