About 1,500 athletes from Canada, United States, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Bahamas, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil and Panama will participate in Pan American Dragon Boat Championship 2023.
The sporting event will take place from March 16 to 19 at the Amador Causeway.
Races from dragon boats is the fastest growing water sport in the world and is one of the most attractive in Panama.
The races range from 200 meters to 2000 meters in different categories, the organizers of the sports competition announced.
On the other side of the race Dragon Boats or Dragon Boatis a traditional and important ancient sport in China and falls on the 5th day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar.
