World Championship of Entrepreneurs: three Argentinian companies will be able to ‘sell’ their project and earn a million dollars

Three national start-ups are among the 100 finalists of the World Cup of Entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia, an event that had its first edition in 2019, and this year the winners will be chosen between March 9 and 12.

One hundred startups from around the world will compete for a share of $1 million in the global finals of the Entrepreneurship World Championship (EWC), which will take place between March 9 to 12 in Biban 2023, Saudi Arabia, and among them are three innovative Argentinian start-ups.

The World Entrepreneurship Championship, sponsored by the Global Entrepreneurship Network and the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises in Saudi Arabia, Monsha'at, is one of the largest introductory competitions and support programs for startup founders. Every year, entrepreneurs compete for a share of a million dollars in prizes, as well as several million in investments, support and publicity.

The first edition of the cup was held in 2019, and a total of 400,000 entries from 200 countries have been added in all these years. The 100 finalists for the 2023 edition, known as the EWC 100, were selected after success in competitions and qualifying activities around the world. The top 250 companies are invited to participate in a three-day boot camp, and 100 are selected to participate in the global final.
