Nacional whitewashed Atlanticos; Metro B wins in Probeis Kids

Teams Panama Metro B, Panama Metro A and Nacionales came out wide with victory, while Federales de Chirquí had “one of lime and the other of sand”, with a win and a loss in the two-day game yesterday at Probeis. The children’s national tournament, starts at the Caribbean Kids Series 2024.

Panama Metro B practically ended the game in the first inning and defeated Águilas Metropolitanas by a score of (6-3) at the Juan Demostenes Arosemena stadium, the headquarters of the tournament.

Juan Álvarez was the winning pitcher and Saúl González took the loss.

For its part, Panama Metro A achieved its first victory by defeating Federales de Chiriquí (5-4).

Isaac Achurra was the winning pitcher with 2.2 scoreless innings. Gael Santamaría lost.

In the second game, Yuriel García shined on the mound and led the Nationals in their victory (7-0) over the Atlantics.

García pitched six innings and picked up the win, with the loss going to Anchel Valdez.

In the last game of the day, Federales de Chiriquí defeated Atlánticos 4-1, and the teams played a doubleheader.
