Everything is ready for the 1st edition of Clásica Sol y Arena, which will take place on Saturday, March 2 near Playa Venao in the province of Los Santos, Pedasí.
The sections that will be run on this day, starting at 16:00 and arriving at the Villa Marina Lodge, in Playa Venao, will be 5 and 10 kilometers, with the Kids Race (a test for boys and girls) which will be 300 meters.
Runners will have a sandy start that will border the waters of this famous beach for 3 kilometers, then start on a dirt track and then two kilometers on an asphalt road to return to the sandy area.
“Thank God we have a good entry of runners. This competition raises the level of running and with the support of big sponsors who are fundamental to these competitions,” said Edwin Rodríguez, who is in charge of the organization.
A total of 15 categories will be awarded with a prize fund of 3,000 dollars, the organizers reported.
