Tauro coach Felipe Baloy has been fined by the Disciplinary Commission of the Panamanian Football Federation (Fepaput) with a 13-game suspension for the 2024 Clausura.
The sanction for Baloy is for his conduct towards the referee’s shortlist in the final of the 2023 Clausura tournament, which Tauro lost to CAI 3-0.
“There is a sanction against Felipe, but I think it should be appealed because there are things that didn’t happen that way. The league has already passed the punishment imposed by the disciplinary committee,” announced Carlos Martans on Julia Shebeluta’s Batakazo program.
“Thirteen games is a semester without work, that’s a lot. Felipe will most likely appeal the fine,” added Martans, regarding the case of Baloy, who will also have to pay a fine of $3,000.
