Atheyna Bylon goes for gold and qualifies for Paris 2024

Panama’s Atheyna Bylon landed the best shots against Viviana Dos Santos of Brazil to advance to the gold medal final.

Bylon was better than the Brazilian in three rounds and beat her 5-0.

With the victory, Bylon qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.

The 2024 Paris Games will be the third Olympic event in which Atheyna Bylon will play.

The Panamanian was in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, Tokyo in 2022 and has now qualified for the 2024 Paris Games.

The Panamanian will now have to face the Canadian Tammara Thibeault, an opponent with whom Atheyna Bylon has already met and had complicated battles, and the North American won.
