Hernández indicated that for the first time around six teams from the province of Chiriquí will participate.
“The competition will take place in the categories of masters, women, mixed, open and breast cancer survivors. The distances are: 2000 meters, 1000 meters, 500 meters and 2002 meters,” said Hernández.
Each team registers 14 participants, 10 of whom are rowers, one at the helm and one at the drum.
“Dragon Boat competitions came to Panama in 2015 and since then we’ve been like the eye of the storm because we’re such a small country.
