Association members The Pacific Teamor they won the cup that accredits them as champions of the 2023 Oceans Cup played in Panama Golf Club in which the youth golf elite is Panama, two days in a row, playing in the best Ryder Cup style.
The tournament was attended by 28 of the best young golfers between the ages of 10 and 18, divided into teams Atlantic and Pacific each with 14 players, pre-selected based on their performance in editions of the USKids 2023 Tour and the Association’s national under-18 rankings Panama Golf (APAGOLF).
The champions, led by Víctor Varona, assisted by Raúl Carbonello, defeated Atlántico 13 1/2 to 10 1/2 and won the honors of this Cup, in which the Pacific was represented by: Juan Raúl Boyd, Leo Benedetti, Samuel Colmenares, Eduardo De León, Juan David Arias, Diego Downs, Daniel Hylton, Samuel Durán, Ricardo Nieto, Miguel Melais, Alessandra Arango, Alexandra Rodríguez, Felipe Ducan and Thiago Shockness.
President of APAGOLF, Miguel Durán, He thanked the players for their work and performance on one of the most difficult fields in Panama and those who supported the realization of this tournament, which was played in different formats in the match game, a new system for children and youth categories in our country.

Additionally, during the event’s closing, the Closest to Pin of Hole 6 winner was announced, matching Pablo Brenes, who was then the recipient of the plane ticket he donated Air Europe.
