U-17 of Ecuador beat Panama again yesterday, in the second friendly between both teams, as part of the preparations for Indonesia 2023.
On the Atahualpa stadium in Quito, the Ecuadorians won 2-1, so ‘Tri’ scored six goals against Panama in two games, after they won 4-0 in the first friendly match last Saturday.
On this occasion, the scorers for the Ecuadorian team were Adrián De Jesús in the 41st minute and Andy Barreto, who scored the winning goal in the 91st minute for Ecuador whereupon Panama he would equalize in the 79th with a goal from Luis Gaitán.
De Jesús scored the first goal of the game. In the last part of the match, Gaitán equalized with a shot from outside the penalty area, which was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the bench he manages. Mike Stump, but in added time, Barreto scored the final goal for Ecuador at an empty net.
