About 20,123 people attended “Expo Konzerta 2023”organized by the employment portal Konzerta.com in cooperation with Mitradel and renowned companies in the country.

Of that total, according to the organizing company, more than 4,000 Panamanian talents are currently in the recruitment processes.

“We even have confirmations of employment from companies that participated in these 2 days of the fair, such as Alorica, who hired 35 talents on site and are continuing interviews. The National Police and the State Border Service have hired around 250 people,” he commented. Jeff Morales, head of marketing for employment portal Konzerta.com.

After the fair recruitment processes are maintained and vary depending on the workplace. There are organizations with hundreds of talent employed and hundreds more in the process of technical, psychometric assessments and interviews with area managers.

“As responsible for employment policies in the country, it is up to us to fully respond to the needs of companies and job seekers. employmentbut this attention is reinforced when we do it in alliance with responsible companies like Konzerta,” said Alfredo Mitre, National Director of Employment for the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development of Panama.

According to age, the largest influx, 35%, was in the range of 25 to 34 years, followed by 28% in the youngest range of 18 to 24 years, 20% in the range of 35-44 years, 10% in the range of 45-54 years and 7% for talents older than 55 years.

Regarding the level of education, 48% of the participating talents had a college education, 17% had a technical level, 30% had a secondary education, and 5% had an elementary education.

“As a company, promoting these spaces and connections for citizens and companies is a challenge and a responsibility in light of such an important point for the country as job creation. It provides a concrete opportunity to pursue a job that allows professional and economic growth,” said María Alejandra Cruz, head of the Konzerta.com employment portal.

Expo Konzerta has been held since 2017 (with a break during the pandemic), and in its fifth edition it received more than 20,000 people.
