Panama finishes with five medals at the Games in Santa Marta

The delegation of Panama ended its participation at V. South American beach games in Santa MartaColombia with five medals, one silver and four bronze.

The delegation of Mr Panama saw action in swimming today in the disciplines of open water and beach football for men, below are the results and outcome:

In the 5 km open water swimming event, Panamanian competitor Isaac Beitia finished in position number 15 with a time of 1h 04:36.06, placing first and second, Ronaldo Zambrano from Venezuela and Gian Turco from Argentina.

As for beach soccer, the Panamanian team faced an exciting challenge against Uruguay.

The final score was 2-3 in favor of Uruguay. Despite the defeat, the Panamanian team showed an exceptional performance on the pitch, with players such as Nagdiel del Rosario and Rafael García standing out with goals goals for his team. Panama took sixth place in the ranking.
