The government extends price controls for six months

The Directorate for Consumer Protection and Defense of Market Competition (Acodeco) reported that the National Government extended by six months price control of 18 food products.

The measure is due Executive Decree No. 11 of July 18, 2023 which states in its first article that “the validity of Executive Decree No. 165 of July 1, 2014 and its corresponding amendments is extended by six months, as provided for in Article 200 of Law 45 of 2007.
