The Panamanian airline Copa Airlines premiered this Thursday its new route between Panama City and Austin, Texas (United States), is considered the “live music capital of the world,” making it his 15th destination in the United States.

The CEO of Copa Airlines, Pedro Heilbron, said in a statement that the inauguration of operations in Austin expands the airline’s presence in the United States and strengthens “even more the connectivity of the continent through the Hub of the Americas.
“In this way, we reaffirm our purpose of shortening distances, connecting families and strengthening commercial ties in the region,” Heilbron said.
Thus, Austin becomes destination number 15 Copa Airlines in the United Statesadding to cities already operating in this country: Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, Denver, Washington, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Fort Lauderdale and Baltimore.
Austin is a cosmopolitan city that stood out as the second best destination for summer travel (2019), and is also known for its live music scene, along with historical and natural attractions, according to the airline.
In addition, the company reports, travelers can enjoy the culinary diversity of the city of Austin with a wide variety of restaurants and unique attractions that make it an “exciting destination to explore.”
Just last week, the airline expanded its presence in the United States by inaugurating Baltimore as its fourteenth destination in the United States, which will have four weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
