Two out of ten cannot afford any additional costs
He 46.4% of Galician households have difficulties making ends meet and 8.92% do so with great difficulty in the second quarter, compared to 44.68% who find it easy or very easy to meet expenses, according to data published this Monday by the Galician Institute of Statistics (IGE). It represents an increase in households that have difficulty or very difficulty making it to the end of the month, both in the three-month variation and in relation to the same period of the previous year.

Confidence
In the second quarter of 2023, the consumer confidence indicator reflects a value of -12.05 points, 8.91 points more compared to the previous quarter.
None of the four partial indicators of the development perspective decreased in this quarter: the unemployment indicator recorded an increase of 13.02 points, followed by the indicator of the economic situation in Galicia, which increased by 11.74 points; the indicator of the ability to save for the future, which increased by 7.53 points, and the indicator of personal financial condition, which increased by 3.34 points.
