Messi debuts as an actor in the Argentine series

Leo Messi He made his debut as an actor in the Argentinian streaming series, “Los protectores”, in which he plays himself in front of a trio of national football players.

This participation takes place in the second season of the comedy about seals ‘Star Original Productions’, starring Argentines Adrián Suar and Gustavo Bermudez, and Colombian Andres Parrawho put themselves in the shoes of three football agents.

Messi takes part in an amusing five-minute scene, in which he meets three representatives to discuss a project to support young people who play for different clubs in Europe, and the situation gets out of control due to requests for photos and videos and a business proposal that leads to an intense exchange of looks.

The scene finally brightens with a toast in between Messi and representatives in the seven-episode series that began airing last Sunday on the Star+ streaming service.

Recorded in different locations in Buenos Aires and Paristhe new season offers fun twists around the adventures of its three protagonists and reveals the power relations and competition typical of the world of the national football team.

The second season begins a year after the founding of “Los protectores SA”, when its three partners enjoy the fact that they managed to position the company as one of the most important in the national football team Latin America and Europe, and unexpectedly suffer the loss of their player portfolio, making it impossible for them to recover what is rightfully theirs.

The new sequel was written by Marcos Carnevale, directed by Jorge Nisco and directed by Polka, and deals with the story of the charismatic trio of soccer players consisting of Mago (Suar), Reynaldo (Parra) and Conde (Bermúdez), along with excellent guests and new characters incarnated by Martín Seefeld, Jorgelina Aruzzi, Gastón Soffritti and Karina Mazzocco.

Messi and Suar, Polka’s artistic director, have known each other since 2015 and caused a stir last March when they went out for dinner at a barbeque in Buenos Aires after the Albiceleste won World Cup in Qatar 2022which is why the star had to be escorted by the police out of the restaurant amid the clamor of fans.
