It is recommended that the submission of the application does not take too long so that the years in which more taxes have been paid are not prescribed

The Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) recalled yesterday that the Supreme Court ruled in favor of bank pensioners who paid 100% of taxes between January 1, 1967 and December 31, 1978. According to the ruling, the contributions paid to the Mutualidad Laboral de Banca are not were subject to deduction, based on the applicable legislation of each period, and therefore consider that they should only pay 75% of their pensions.

Those affected can ask the treasury to regulate and refund the overpaid amounts in the declarations for the years 2018 to 2021. In this way, they can request that the 25% that they should not have paid be returned to them. OCU recommends that they do not delay in submitting the application so that those years in which they paid more taxes do not end up prescribed.
