Applus+ has taken over the entire share capital of Rescollof the France-based provider of materials testing and research and development services, the company announced on Monday, which did not specify the amount of the operation.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Bordeaux, Rescoll has 170 employees and annual revenue of 21 million euros, and specializes in chemical analysis, mechanical testing and materials and process engineering, with extensive experience in adhesives and coatings.

With this acquisition, Applus+ is consolidating its service portfolio to meet growing demands medical devices and aviation sectors, positioning itself in key industrial centers such as Germany, France and Spain. In the field of medical devices, the Laboratories Division extends its services to biocompatibility tests and mechanical tests on implants and biomaterials.

Except, Rescoll positions Applus+ as a reference partner in the aviation sectoradding new accreditations and complementing its extensive and versatile capabilities, which cover the entire testing pyramid, from coupons to full-scale testing.
