It’s the second time it’s happened this month and it’s affecting van assembly
Factory of the group stellantis Vigo announced this Wednesday cancellation of the last work shift of the day in system 2.
The cause, again, is the lack of supply and, as happened last day 1the announcement was made hours before the workers started their jobs.
Production system 2 assembles the group’s various brands of delivery vehicles and is where the company plans to restore a weekend shift or a fourth shift starting in September, as the company reported last May.
To achieve this, Stellantis will hire 700 workers and is already taking the necessary steps to hire them.
