The eldest of four siblings, Noor was raised by a Kuwaiti father, Falah, and an American mother, Alana. The girl’s father is the president of a company called Q8 Capital Inc. In 2013, the New York Post reported that the Noor family was “estimated to be in the nine figures”.

Noor studied film in college, earning a bachelor’s degree from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and later a master’s degree in film and television production from the University of California, Los Angeles.

She worked as a producer on the 2019 short film A Little Death and as an executive producer on the 2018 short-lived television series Brosa Nostra. Noor was also an employee of Lynda Obst Productions, which produced films such as Interstellar and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
