In the successful HBO project Game of Thrones, the artist embodied the character of Oberyn Martell, a member of the House of Martell, the ruling house of Dorne and the father of eight illegitimate girls known as Sand Serpents. “I remember back in the day because of Game of Thrones and how my character died, people were really into taking selfies with thumbs up to my eyes. At first, I was so honest and happy about the character’s success on the show that I let them! But as a result of having other people’s fingers around my eyes, I got an eye infection,” said Pascal.
This episode marked Pedro Pascal’s final appearance on Game of Thrones. The fantasy drama series aired for four more seasons. A total of eight seasons of 73 episodes were released.
